**General Adoption Criteria: This is not meant to sound condescending that is not my intention. I only want to make it clear for all to understand. This lessens the chance of having to re-home my kittens a 2nd time. My sole goal is to find excellent homes for my kittens the 1st time around. My main criteria for adoptions is children must be over 5 years old UNLESS there is some sort of prior supervised cat experience with the child such as at grandparents house or friends houses. I only adopt out to homes where the adult has prior cat experience. *This means the cat experience was as an adult NOT during childhood only. In part this is because Siberians are super active and can be very mischievous cats. People with no cat experience may find them to be too much to handle. I don't take people that have cat allergy induced Asthma. This is due to no longer having my cat that was super low allergen for those types of issues.
****As of January 27th, 2022; I have had to raise my prices. My Vet has raised her fees significantly and my food bill and supplies have also gone up. Before arriving at this new price I surveyed the prices of the other Siberian breeders in the Western US. The current range is $1700-$2,300. If you find a Siberian kitten for under $1,700 that breeder is either not testing and is a "backyard breeder" or they are running a scam. Please be very careful of the scams that are out there now. Unfortunately I have at least 2 people per month tell me they were scammed out of money from a questionable breeder.****
All of our Kittens are $1800 no matter what "wink-wink Rare " color they are.
Retiree's are $750 unless otherwise noted.
**Prices subject to change prior to Deposit placed**
**As of 10/5/18; Our kittens are sold under a STRICT spay/neuter contract requiring them to be altered between 5~1/2-6 months old. This is for health reasons. I as a retired nurse work closely with a retired Anesthesiologist who also breeds Siberians. We have done years of extensive research in this matter and feel that kittens under the age of 5 months old are not equipped to deal with the STRESS of an elective surgery and do not have their immune systems built up enough to handle infection should one occur. Illness and stress can cause the kitten to be susceptible to FIP from which there is no cure. In order for me to SAFELY do the spay/neuter on my end that means waiting till the kitten is 5+months old and then not sending it to its new home until after 6 months old. Kittens go thru a lot of cute and interesting changes between 3-6 months old. Most people enjoy receiving their kittens when they are still small and silly. Going to a Spay/Neuter Clinic is the cheapest way to get your kitten fixed. This is what they do all day long so they are good at it. I have a partial list of Vets and Spay Clinics HERE that clients have told me they like. After proof of spay/neuter surgery you will receive the Registration paperwork and pedigrees of the parents.
WE DO NOT SELL BREEDERS~WE DO NOT SELL KITTENS INTERNATIONALLY

***UPDATE as of 1/27/22: AFTER I WORK THRU MY CURRENT WAITLIST I WILL BE DOING AWAY WITH IT AND POSTING KITTEN PICTURES AT 6 WEEKS OLD AND ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS AT THAT TIME FOR THOSE SPECIFIC KITTENS. MY WAITLIST IS GETTING OUT OF HAND WITH YEAR LONG WAIT PERIODS THAT END UP TYING PEOPLE TO MY WAIT LIST THRU THEIR DEPOSIT. WITH THIS NEW WAY OF DOING THINGS CLIENTS WILL NOT HAVE THAT PROLONGED WAIT AND IF THEY FIND ANOTHER KITTEN ELSEWHERE THEY ARE FREE TO PURSUE IT. Wait List Families must keep the Cattery updated on all changes of address, phone numbers and email addresses. If, during picks, the Cattery does not receive a timely response from a Wait List family to the Cattery's email or phone call, the family will be skipped during picks on that litter. If during picks for the next litter, the Cattery again does not receive a timely response from a Wait List family to the Cattery's email or phone call, the sale will be cancelled. Non-communication on the Purchaser’s part can jeopardize the chance of finding a suitable home for a kitten or cat as quickly as possible.***

shipping
I do not ship. I don't believe in kittens being thrown in cargo like luggage. It is VERY stressful for them. Check out QT Pet Transport Flight Nanny Service.
I have also used them personally to bring a puppy to me from Mississippi and they were wonderful. I highly recommend them. IF you are unable to come to my home directly; we meet people in NV at the Las Vegas airport or Bass Pro Shop also Needles CA at Jack in the Box 221 "J" St. as needed for pickups for an additional $50 gas fee.
***United Airlines will NOT allow kittens under 16 weeks old to fly with YOU in cabin. The minimum age for kittens flying United is 16 weeks old and MUST have a Rabies shot. Kittens go home at 12 weeks old. If I need to board them the additional 4 weeks that adds up to $10 per day equaling $280 in additional charges to you. Now if you plan on using a flight nanny double check with them way ahead of time to see if that same rule applies to them as it does to the normal customer. As they are employees; I have heard rumors that it might not. I don't recommend using United.
Policies
Cancellation: Pumaridge Siberians Cattery has the express right to cancel a Sales Contract with the Purchaser, if at any time prior to the kitten leaving the Cattery, Pumaridge Siberians Cattery determines that the placement of this kitten with the Purchaser will be harmful in any way to the kitten or not a good match for the kitten or the Cattery. All monies paid to Pumaridge Siberian Cattery towards the purchase price of the kitten, will be refunded to the Purchaser if Pumaridge Siberians Cattery cancels a contract under this clause. **If the Purchaser changes his/her mind about purchasing this kitten for any reason, $200 of the $300 deposit will be refunded with ($100 of this being a non-refundable processing fee.)
Kitten Application: A Kitten Application must be filled out before a nonrefundable kitten deposit can be taken on a kitten and/or before being placed on the Wait List, or before a visit to the Cattery is made. We do not like to place kittens in homes with children under 5 years of age. If you have a child 5 or under please address what experience that child has had with cats/kittens. Once we have reviewed your application, we will contact you and speak to you more thoroughly regarding if an Allergy test is needed and what the next steps will be. Please see the Kitten Application Page.
Allergy Testing: You are welcome to make an appointment for testing. This visit consists of hanging out with the cats for 1 hour and enjoying them and asking as many questions as you like. I charge $50 for the visit. This goes towards the $300 deposit of the kitten IF a deposit is placed otherwise it is just for my time. I ask that you bring any medications and rescue inhaler you have and wear jeans and non-snaggable shirts as cats and kittens do have claws. We are a closed Cattery so as to prevent unwanted viruses or bacteria from entering our Cattery/Home. Please understand that I have many people asking for time to come test. This takes away from my family time. For allergy testing purposes if you can not come in person we are more than willing to send you a fur sample *FREE OF CHARGE*. *We do have dogs so that will effect anyone with dog allergies*
Kitten Deposit: Once you have received a verbal or written approval of your Kitten Application, you then can pay a deposit $300.00 to reserve a kitten. ($100 of this is a non-refundable processing fee.) You may pay with a US Postal Money Order, personal check, Cash, Venmo or Paypal. If using Paypal add $9.27 for the Paypal transaction Fee. Make checks payable to Tina Slayton. I will send an email receipt for your Deposit. I require the Sales Contract to also be filled out at this time, signed and sent back either by snail mail or scanned and emailed back. You must sign the Sales Contract and return it to us prior to the pickup of your kitten. Final payment is due on or before the pickup date at the Cattery in CASH.
*We accept the kitten deposit from families as a show of their good faith in their commitment to purchase a kitten from our Cattery. We plan our litters based on our Wait List.

It is Cattery Policy not to adopt out one of our kittens to a home with other cats that have not been tested for feline diseases such as FeLV and FIV, vaccinated and up to date on vaccinations. ** A kitten, even though thoroughly vaccinated, has a weaker immune system than a adult cat. We do not want to put any of our kittens in harms way by adopting it into a home that has un-vaccinated or out of date vaccinated pets or has had cats that are positive for FeLV. If this cat/kitten is going into a multi-pet household Pumaridge Siberians Cattery will not be responsible for any illness or vet bills that occur due to the exposure between the cat/kitten and the Purchasers other pets. Kittens should be quarantined away from Purchasers other pets for 2 weeks.
Declawing: Per our contact, our kittens/cats are not allowed to be declawed. Besides being inhuman, it can set up a kitten or cat for manic and hostile behavior as well as extreme undue stress which could lead to the deadly disease of FIP. As such, our contract does not permit declawing. Declawing of one or our kittens or cats will void the contract.
Spay/Neuter Agreement~~Reasons to Spay and Neuter: (Our kittens are sold under a strict spay/neuter contract! WE DO NOT SELL BREEDERS). In females, spaying will help prevent most breast cancers, the second most common cancer found in female cats. Spaying will also help prevent most ovarian and uterine tumors, heat cycles, aggressive behaviors and the desire to stray and roam away from home. In males, neutering helps prevent spraying, prostate enlargement and cancers, anal and rectal tumors, aggressive behaviors and the desire to roam and fight which can easily result in deadly, infectious viral diseases such as Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, Feline Leukemia, both of which are fatal. Another major reason is over population of coarse.
